myDropWizard provides Services which include backing up Customers' websites and resolving problems and support issues on those Customer websites.

All Customers of our Services represent Data Controllers of any personal data that are being transferred to myDropWizard ("Customer Data") in order to provide the Services.

A Data Controller defines aims and means of personal data processing, while a Data Processor works with data on behalf of a Data Controller. myDropWizard as a Data Processor will work with Customer Data on behalf of its Customers in order to provide its Services to those Customers.

myDropWizard stores and processes Customer Data only on behalf of, and as instructed by, its Customers. Data processing activities may include (unless Customer specific opts out of invidual activities or Services):

  • Performing backups of Customer websites
  • Resolving a problem or support issues on the Customer website
  • Or any other Services described in any agreement between myDropWizard and its Customer

Customer Data may be processed by Sub-Processors in order to provide these Services - complete details are provided in the dedicated sections of this privacy policy (namely, section 6).

Except as instructed by its Customers (or where required by law), myDropwizard will not review, share, distribute, print or reference any Customer Data.

We take handling of Customer Data very seriously, and engage in industry best practices to ensure that it remains secure and private, including: encryption, sanitizing or psuedoanonymizing, limiting access to just those who need it and internal security training.

2. Types of Data collected on the Website (as Controller)

With regard to the Website and its marketing efforts, myDropWizard represents a Data Controller (or "Owner") of some Personal Data collected from Users.

myDropWizard is in-house self-certified in regards to Privacy Shield.

The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over myDropWizards’s compliance with the Privacy Shield.

What does this mean for the European User?

myDropWizard is responsible for all processing of Personal Data it receives under the Privacy Shield Framework from European Union and Swiss individuals and commits to subject the processed Personal Data to the Privacy Shield Principles.

This, most importantly, includes the right of individuals to access their personal data processed by myDropWizard.
